I don't really understand this and am glad I don't have to but I know lots of you work and have small people that need to be kept somewhere so thought it might be useful.

There is something run at the sanger for getting child care vouchers so you don't have to pay NI on the cost I think

Yes, if your company participates in the scheme (and it might not). An amount up to £217 per month is extracted from your salary as a voucher to pay for childcare costs, before national insurance is paid. It applies per parent, not per child,
