I,m Pretty sure these are Cinnabar Chanterelles...am I right?

Unfortunately we don't get these in the UK. I think you are correct with your ID (but bear in mind I have never found them myself). I wonder if they taste as good as normal chanterelles?

Garry,

The Cinnabar Chanterelles are purported to be good eats, but not as choice as the yellows. I, however, am not sure as these are the first possible specimens I have ever found.

"Jack-o-lantern mushrooms," are sometimes mistaken for chanterelles. Both are bright orange and fruit at the same time of year. They are not good for you.
