I'm trying to clear the freezer at the mo, and am working my way through some of those unidentified packages from the bottom!
The latest one is a chunk of roast duck that MIL sent home with us after Xmas. There isn't a right lot - a generous portion for one and a bit on the mean side for two - and I thought I'd ask my favourite recipe resource for ideas.

What would you do with some cold, roast duck?

fried rice?

cut up the duck and boil some rice

chop up some vegetables to stirfriy and put in pan along with soy sauce, rice wine or sherry, ginger, garlic or your own standard stirfry marinade

soft for a bit till the colour you like
add the meat fry for a bit longer
add the rice and a beaten egg stir round to ensure the egg is cooked and mixed in and everthing is well mixed

serve

Thanks chaps. I'll see what we have in the cupboard.
I've had so much work to do for the last fortnight it seems to have pushed everything else out of my head - including how to cook
