Got this from MSE:

https://www.est.org.uk/myhome/gid/

Apparently it works by region, suppliers, and status (age/owner/benefits) so will tell you if there's something particular available to you to help install a particular energy saving measure. Apologies if it has been posted before.

Yes, Bugs, a good site. Got them coming round after Christmas. Powergen also visited about a year ago and were less than helpful. Don't bank on maximum grants or even useful advice from the energy suppliers. My local council are very keen and is the way to go to get Energy Tax Credits if you already have sufficient measures in place.

Bristol City Council do 25% refund for DIY domestic energy saving expenditure, as long as it is pre-agreed and you provide a VAT reciept. Bigger discounts are sometimes tied in with certain products/services too, altough obviously you don't get to choose! I wanted the more eco-friendly Warmcel insulation for instance, so opted for the DIY deal.
