Does anyone know of a good site for e-cards? I've been looking on the internet, but can't find anything I like. The Friends of the Earth one is OK, but it does just look like a web page rather than a card, Christian Aid is good, but I'm not religious... any suggestions?

I think I am going to have a go at making my own - it involves taking a digital picture of my kids dressed up in suitable whacky attire, then emailing it with some kind of message to everyone I can think of. So look out

Does your email address allow you things like changing font, background colour etc?

The problem with signing up for commercial e-card sites is that they always seem to bombard you with popup adverts - plus, once they have your email address, you may get lots of junk email from them, too

Me too Lozzie: I'm using a pic. of the house I took in the snow the other week. Penny: I have pics of, my ducks in the snow, or the trees at the bottom of the field, or my Christmas tree from last year: I could e-mail you one for you to use, if you like!

The BBC used to have e cards on its wildlife section and possibly on the gardening section; they might well have something seasonal.

That's so kind of you Mochyn, I wish I'd taken some of our house last week, then we could have local ones. I'll try and get some pretty ones from here anyway and make my own. But if I don't manage to get any nice ones, I'll take you up on your kind offer - thanks.

www.bbc.co.uk/paintingtheweather has some lovely snow scenes

www.jacquielawson.com costs £4.50 to join, but the animated cards are lovely and you can use the site all year for birthdays etc too.
