Hello all

We have arranged a lambing day on the 20th Jan on the Blackdown hills which is on the Devon/ Somerset border.
The day will run from 10 - 4 and will include:
Care of in lamb and just lambed ewes
Care of newborn lambs - tailing, castration, etc
Care of orphan/cade lambs including fostering
Ongoing management of lambs to weaning

There are 10 places available and cost is £35 per person
The farm is Beech Hayes Farm (home of the famous Blackdown Bangers and burgers!) run by Nick and Ruth Strange who have a mixed holding including a 150 ewe flock of early lambing ewes.

Id love to do this as Ive got 3 LLeyn ewes due to lamb in April, but its too far from Cornwall(got to drp/pick up kids from school), but Ive got to say GREAT PRICE TOO! Lorraine

Are there any spaces left?? We live just by the quantocks. Have got through 2 lambing seasons but always up for learning more...
