Following a discussion elsewhere on here, and a request in the Oscars voting, I'm linking here to some very comprehensive plans for a pizza oven. They're free, and perhaps a little over engineered, but the theory appears sound. It's on my to-do list. And I understand Gervase is building one for his darling, too.

You have to register to download them, and it can take 24 hours for the link to come through, but it's hassle free aside from that. |

I guess he's got to get her dimensions right to make sure she can fit in okay. |

All I need is a couple of baby-free days and a pile of building materials, then. I wonder if my pink flowery wheelbarrow is up to the job? |

Don't worry, MJ - spouses never finish building projects at home! |

Perhaps spouses shouldn't generate such long, arduous, unnecessary and demanding lists of Jobs That Need Doing.
You know, just thinking out loud here. |

Or change their mind about what it was they wanted in the first place when you're 95% complete. |

We wrote a list once, but there were so many jobs on it, it was depressing. So now we just ignore them mentally. We have a bath, a sunny deck, a Great Big Fridge and a range cooker. What else does a girl need?
Apart from a pizza oven.... |

ETA - I just read through the plans. Has to win 'Most Innovative use of Gym Ball' It reminds me of those paper mache piggy banks we made a school. Only probably heavier work... |

Here's my best mates bread/pizza oven, its still work in progress but its getting there.

I've saved my best chorizos in readiness for its inaugral pizza night. To be honest, his chorizos are pretty bland and tasteless compared with my firey beauties. |
