I've just set up a forum at MyFreeForum.org to help organise the flood clear up here, and the site appears to have gone down: I can no longer log into the forum, nor the host's support page.
I believe that somebody here has some connection with that company?
Any idea what is occurring?
It is particularly frustrating as I had been arguing with them about how much better a forum is than Facebook for the task in hand, then as soon as I try to prove it, it falls over and potentially proves me wrong...
Of course it may be a problem at my end, but every other site I've looked at appears to work.

The forum I set up is https://kirkstall.myfreeforum.org if that is of any use to know.

Ok, is working now. May be something to do with rebooting my router, I have no idea...

Working for me here. And afaik we're on their servers. The BBC had fallen over earlier but I don't think they're part of the MyFF empire.

That was what I thought. My current best guess is that something was screwy with my router. If so, I'd quite to find out what it was if anyone has any guesses, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it if I don't.

the bt infrastructure stuff is a bit damp in t'north at the mo. might be part or all or the problem

If all sites were affected equally I would assume line problems. As it seemed to be only the one site, I am leaning away from that diagnosis.
