I found a bunch of wood blewits growing in my allotment yesterday. They were very tasty. I had my worst ever results on my allotment last year, probably due to the weather. However, the unexpected mushrooms were very good. Some field mushrooms appeared in the summer and I had loads of wood blewits in Autumn/Winter. However, the latest ones were the first since early December.

Haven't seen anything round here for ages, I reckon they've all drowned.
