This is a discussion we've had here in the Foraging section a few times.

Its important to forage responsibly. Do no harm. The huge increase in foraging for sale and for the restaurant trade is putting great pressure on some places, but not others. How best to handle this... I could well imagine that there will be limits put on foraging from the most over-picked areas, rather like the restrictions already existing in, say, Epping Forest.
