Has anyone grown these successfully? The dill leaves were nice while they lasted, I added them to my sandwiches. But the seeds don't taste very good. I harvested most of them when they were ready (black) and dry. Maybe, in the case of caraway, the tiny threads attached to them don't help, though I can't see how to get those off.
Is it me, the year, or the (South) English climate?
I have successfully grown coriander: the seeds smell lovely when ground, as opposed to those other two.

I've used dill leaf varieties for dill heads (for pickling), but never went as far as the seed. I wonder if dill leaf varieties are just not well suited for dill seed the way a dill seed variety would be?

dill is best planted early spring and harvested before flowering for pickles and drying.it is a plant of the northern end of temporate/southern end of arctic and seems to do best if it starts cold and grows fast ,summer/autumn dill has a bit of an "odd"taste imho.

If you can buy dried dill seed for cooking, I'd be tempted to sow some of that and see if it does anything? Then you'd have the correct variety at least.

If you want the leaf, a nice cilantro variety will perform so much better for you than a coriander variety!

To my knowledge, cilantro is just American for coriander.
I have grown coriander for years. I always buy it in a pot in spring, which tends to contain some 5 plantlets. I plant those outside separately. They serve me very well for leaves. Later I dry the seeds and grind them in a peppermill: lovely!

We say cilantro for the herb when we use the leaf. We say coriander when we use the seed. There are varieties that have been bred for both purposes individually.
