I'm trying to find a source for a small run (less than 1000) of ethically sourced wash bags for a client. Budget is tight so I need to look at getting them made abroad.

I could also look at using an off the shelf bag - but am looking for something simple - not too multicoloured looking or overly patterned as most of them seem to be.

Does anyone have any leads? Would be appreciated. Thanks.

Of course it could be UK sourced but as I understand it the price might be an issue. Got a linky to something similar Maxwell?

How much is your budget, per bag?

Washbags seem to start around £15.

Carrier type bags run to 60p each for a 1,000. So...

How important is shape?

Have you tried contacting these people?

When we re-do our bags, this is where I'll suggest we get them from.

£15 would be retail and including VAT - and even then it would have to be for a name. I've seen them about for just over a pound wholesale - but that would be for a nylon bag. Heck Muji even sells some for £2.

But sourcing is important so am prepared to take that into account.

Not looking for anything in particular. Should be simple though and with a zipper. Other than that as long as it looks smart.

Perhaps something like this but out of an eco friendly fabric:

Not wash bags, but this business in Carmarthenshire make reusable shopping bags. Might be of interest to others coming to this thread subsequently.
