i have a growing interest in learning to fish/forage anything to do with gathering food for myself but i simply dont know where to start.

Ideally im looking for somewhere/someone local to me that would be able to teach me either skill without a huge price tag. failing that i would love some general advice.

for fishing... where to go around the lancashire area? how to go about it? any special requirements? what rod/reel/bait to buy for it? ect...

any help is greatly appreciated.
