I made a loaf yesterday and once it had cooled, I went to pop it in the bread bin. In there I came across a mouldy roll. My question is, if there is a mouldy roll in there, should I wash out the bread bin before putting in my new loaf, or is it ok just to bung it in there?

Thanks.

Yeh, even I would wash out the breadbin after a mouldy roll.
Same as washing out the butter dish after a pat of butter has gone rancid in it.
