I've had layers for a couple of years now and love them dearly but want to expand a little and try a few meat chooks this year. The only problem I have is that it's been over 20 years since I last slaughtered a chicken and I don't want to screw it up and cause undue suffering.

I was hoping to barter my sewing skills or some of my weaving in return for some help but I'd happily pay if anyone could point me in the right direction. So far I've only found Empire Farm but I need somewhere I can get to on public transport as I don't drive.

Can anyone help?
