The two aren't related in any way, other than that I've been researching both today.

This morning was researching VAT back on self-build / conversions.

Nice little bonus on my project when it's completed (assuming it goes ahead -early stages still)

Then I looked into Community Infrastructure Levy.

The CIL charge on the plot I'm after, with the current planning permissions is over £6k per house.
Even allowing for my smaller proposed build that will wipe out my VAT reclaim

Never mind - my total budget figures are still just the same as yesterday and still feasible.
