I changed the oil on my crusty old tractor this afternoon; went inside to wash my hands & put the kettle on, came out & found 3 (formerly) white geese looking like 3 of the 101 Dalmatians

Yes, I was thinking more about how errm 'manageable' they might or might not be during the process.

if I could get near them I'd try, but although they look a bit untidy, they now seem incredibly waterproof

so a bit of a result

Oh yes.... ours seem to like 'tasting' quite a few things.... which, inevitably ends up in their water trough.

Ours nibble a lot - they will stand in a row clacking their beaks on a bar of the metal gate. Sure they will wear through it in the end....

We have had our wood chipper rewired at least twice already thanks to the attentions of the goose mob...
