Hello All,

The in-laws want us up at theirs for christmas, and they dont allow dogs. We have a springy springer spaniel coming up for 7 months old. Ideally we will find a relatively cheap holiday cottage near to presteigne for between 23/24th till 27/28, but if not, i'd like her to go with a family for christmas week or someone who enjoys walking and would like some doggy company over christmas. I will pay towards her keep, dont want her in kennels.
She is too boisterous for my parents and their dog.

I've had someone called Tammy Jones on FB saying she does sitting.. but never heard of her before, does anyone know her? As i say ideally rather she not go to a dog sitter.
(I know this might seem hypocritical, since I sit animals.. but i dont advertise myself as a dog sitter only, I think to be a dog sitter (as in dogs come to your house) you must know dog behaviour through and through especially as you will be changing the dynamics so frequently, therefore I'm extra careful)

there is a possibility of my brother and s-i-l. She is a dog walker, groomer, and so on. Starting training for a vet nurse qualification in the next year. they do dog sitting and were going to have Georgie.
The only problem is they are in Ciren....
Would you like me to enquire or is it too far?

Ooh and they have two dogs of their own who are great with other dogs and kids who have been brought up to respect and care for dogs.

Yeah, ciren is too far. Ideally needs to be en-route to presteigne, powys.. or within 30mins off that road at any point. Thank you tho

Managed to find a cheap cottage for 5 nights, dog and child friendly, just over the border in south shropshire.. was amazed at the price £250, to think most arent that price in the low season! and has a woodburner too, so just lovely.
Thank you for the Pm, will keep you in mind
