The title says most of it.

Is it reliable and is it very costly?

Has anybody personal experience of it?

TIA

We have looked at it.

If there is no other way to get internet then use it. If not then dont.

Its not great for secure stuff as the ping response times are very long.

We have it as there is no other way to get Internet access where we are (in a rural bit of NW Spain). It works surprisingly well - I have done video-conferencing over it with no noticeable lag. We pay about £30/month for it IIRC.

From my experience it is very poor but if you have no other option then go for it.
