wasn't sure where to put this

have just received in the post a very useful brochure detailing the short and part-time courses at Hartpury College near Gloucester

website - www.hartpury.ac.uk

as well as a variety of Bee Keeping courses for both beginners ( which is what I was interested in) and experienced I was interested to see they do Food Hygiene; a day of cheesemaking, some farming skills and a course called Welcome Farmer about selling at a farmers market!

They sound really good Julie, really fancy some short courses so I can see what really appeals and what I have talen for. How did you find the place in the first place, I wondered if there is a central list of places that do agricultural/smallholding etc courses...

i used to live in Gloucester so its local to me ( and only an hour from here so still useful). I remember going round an open day there years ago and being fascinated by their bee keeping department.

i expect if you googled horticultural courses or whatever something'd turn up!

Oh yes, I remember seeing this, I should have last summer's handy.

So many of the more interesting courses seem to be down your way, not surprisingly (Devon and Somerset seem to be favourites). Not that it would be any great hardship to go there but time and costs generally forbid
