two great little workers,put many a conie in the net!,best day was 20! on my own too!
if anyone wants a days fereting and have had some experience come on over,tea included!

Where abouts are you?
Done a fair bit of ferreting in the past, one of my lurchers is a usefull animal with ferrets too,100% steady around them.
Where i am in the westcountry there is still so much cover around due to the mild weather that ferreting using purse nets is a constant battle with brambles etc! Lots of people have swittched to long nets in recent times.

countryman,ime near stourhead,and the bury is within sight of the house,not too bad for cover and brambles,mostly its bracken on a bank (what was 100 years ago the wilts somerset border)theres one hellof a lot of holes 200+. its in about 4 'sections',there are 3 other burys in the same field.
