if that's your thing then probably like mutton but on a baggot you would be struggling to get a sandwich as they are not huge meat goats more like slender bambi things

they are on the rare breed list and critical i think...........

Nanny, how far would we have to come to get it, Suffolk is rather a long way for us?

BTW we are only interested in the Pygmy, anything else would be a bit too big

Just joking- actually the bagot goats are from round these parts. They are named after the Bagot family who live at Blithfield Hall Staffs, quite near abbots bromley.

Nanny, they sound lovely. I wish we could have a goat at the moment, but it just isn't viable.

I hope someone here has them - Pippin sounds lovely!!!!!

I'm too soft, I'd have the lot - hubby would probably divorce me (chips, dad thought coming on!!!!)

they are nice, the bagots are delicate creatures not really useful for anything which is why they are probably now on the critical list despite beingone of the oldest designated breeds

and pygmys are wonderful animals - i have 3 which is why i can't take anymore

as i say they aren't actually mine but i said i woudl try to help

I like to think I strive towards self sufficiency. My dogs, cat and horse are financially all one way. If I get these goats, what return on my investment can I expect?
