I think Gonzo might have to be braised slowly, rather than roasting. Looks a bit stringy to me.

The thing is most of the other characters are not that edible. There's a dog, bear, two old men. I suppose there the hens but they're too cute.

Treacle ('er on the left) does indeed throw stones when she dust bathes in the greenhouse. She can also throw house bricks a few feet.

Her eggs are about the same size as the other hens. She has always laid thin shelled eggs, slept in the nest box and been a bit strange. When she stretches she is also about six inches taller than she should be and much heavier.
