Just grab their heads and back legs, pull and twist. Not done it myself but seen it done when our pet rabbits decided to keep us in fresh meat when I was a lad.

You getting one of those 5 foot long bunnies then Simon?

No, just the little cute one I think.

Not that they are cute to me. I have never had much fondness for Rabbits except in a stew. I have made it clear to a local breeder that we could do with a couple (one of each) and he is gonna let me know when they are available.

I don't think I will have any trouble "sorting them out" when we are over-run! At least, not as much trouble as I would have going into Tesco (en angleterre) and buying a chicken for £1.99 which has obviousely been factory farmed.

All our animals - whatever they may be - have the best lifestyle we can give 'em before "le chop". That is the only way I could ever eat meat again (and I havn't had any since 1998). Looking forward to my best friend "Mr Piggy" being fat enough at the end of this year!

.... and back to the topic in question .... I can't wait to eat a few bunnies in the interim! Raised on good grass and dandelions for a happy life first - of course

Does your allotment allow air rifles then?

Oh and while I'm on .... why dont you get yourself a universally welcomed avatar like most of us on here have which doesn't include worthless political slogans like "for fox sake ban hunting" !!!

I never really understood the logic in all this pointless rivalry!

After all we are all out to earn a crust and eat well ... aren't we?

With as less stress to the hunted as possible in the process?

That's interesting - is it owned by an individual or the allotment association itself? We were talking about "private" allotments a couple of weeks ago and wondering how the management etc could work.

That's really lucky, You get a free meal and everyone else loves you for saving their plants!

I don't mind your avatar, not my thing but diversity is fine IMHO.

Hmm, new variation on 'Surf 'n' Turf': 'Pond 'n' Burrow'.

Oh, good good and good. I was just thinking you are a pompous gitt but you are obviousely not (and I think you spelt "bliar" right the first time) not that I would get involved with your English politics 'cos I am in bonny France now.

Anyhow, welcome to the site. Nowt wrong with hunting with yer dog matey as long as you don't prance around behind it for show like the stupid aristocracy of Angleterre do.

Happy hunting!
