DON'T READ THHIS IF YOU DON'T LIKE BRAGGING:

I won first prize at the Llanfair Caereinion show for a sampler of the 23rd psalm that I cross-stitched some years ago. Woohoo! It has the text of the psalm and pictures of pigs, trees, birds... I'm rather pleased with myself. What do you mean, you guessed?!

I'll try, but it will entail photographing it, e-mailing the pic to Tahir and then him getting it online! I'll have a go...

Which paper? County Times? Needless to say, I haven't seen it! I've taken a pic, and am now looking for the lead to connect the camera to the computer...

Terri likes cross-stitch. Since the children all she's done is buy the magazines, but before that she was always doing them. She always had half a dozen on the go at a time - I could never understand why she didn't just do one until it was finished, but she said she liked a change when she got bored. I used to rib her about the one with fruit in a bowl and the caption 'Life is just a bowl'

It is quite frightening how many hours it takes to make even a small one.

It is one more thing she will do 'when Harry goes to school', along with mosaicing a table, learning French, teaching English, opening a B&B and ice-cream parlor and cooking me an adequete supply of pies and cakes.

I think we need a campaign to get Terri on here

Do many people here make up their own designs? I am working on a bookmark for a friend's baby and want to decorate it with bumblebees but am not happy with the patterns I have in the library books I borrowed. But not being very artistic I'm not sure I would do it very nicely, any ideas?
