I have heard that used coffee grounds are good for growing various types of mushrooms, but I'm not clear which ones are best.

Any thoughts.

Oyster mushrooms seem to be the first choice - probably the easiest to experiment with.

pinks are tropical, probably a bit harder to grow than the others. blue and yellow are much of a muchness with blue supposedly a bit higher yielding. There's a lot of info on using coffee grounds over at the gourmet section of the shroomery https://www.shroomery.org/forums/postlist.php/Board/13. well worth a browse.
