So jealous, hardly seen any boletus at all this year, few red crackers and thats it so far. No sign of chantrelles yet either here (wilts) but i'll be going to some spots later in the week....

I would also say blewitts. The smell is hugely distinctive, very sweet orange juice.
By no means an expert but i find blewitts frequently share their spots with other species so look at each ...

The smell wasn't that strong or particuarly distinctive. Not the apricot smell I would associate with golden Chants. Anything nasty that i need to rule out?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could give a 2nd opinion on the pictured fungus? I'm like 99% certain it is Cantharellus tubaeformis but could be mistaken.
