I agree, scaley leg I think. Vaseline all over her feet and legs once a week for three weeks. Don't pick it, you'll hurt her, it'll come off when she next moults.

The reaction thing... the caustic and the lard react and make the soapy goodness. But if you use it too early it stings.
I have some in the airing cupboard that's been curing since autumn. |

Vaseline all over the legs from toe to feathers once a week for three or four weeks.
You can dip the leg in surgical spirit as well, but I think it stings. The vaseline works just as well. |
