Winter Purslane grows well all winter to early spring. Hardy plant grown outdoors or in a cool greenhouse. Adds a nice crunch to salads.

.....is it worth it? Still have loads of cabbage in the garden and not much freezer space . If I did dry it what would I use it in?

You might need to wash the linen before you use as it will probably shrink alittle.

How about a lightweight linen. Fairly easy to handle and reasonably priced on ebay.

Several things my panasonic did not like were slamming doors/ disturbance on the worktop while the dough was rising or a cold kitchen.

Didn't seem to matter whether I used cheap or expensive flou ...
