Sorry to divert slightly from the topic but if you are using energy saving lamps that plug into normal lampholders (BC or ES) are you aware that these do not count towards any energy inspection rating ...

There is a similar storyline in the March 2007 issue of Living France magazine which states "after the war there were two million farms in France now there are less than 350,000". (pages 25/26/27)

To comply with current building regulations in the UK , 1 in 4 light fittings on new or modified works should be only able to accept an energy saving lamp. This is in part L of the new regs .

Having thought about it British music is far better than French , a week of Breton radio was quite hard going .
