Excellent.
Don't forget the razor wire and gun emplacements to protect your trees.

Welcome to the glamorous, fun-filled world of sheep farming Tahir.
Lots of lovely treats in store - worming, foot trimming and, best of all, dagging

Are you going to tup them next year and experience the joys of lambing ?

Seriously though, sheep can be good fun and very relaxing in a weird sort of way.

Brilliant, tahir. We'll be getting some sheep later in the year providing our orchard purchase goes through ok. We can learn from your mistakes!

They're from someone just down the road. This is just to get a feeler so we're not thinking of tupping or anything, probably send 1/2 to slaughter Novemberish and the rest as hoggets.

The field they'll be in is nowhere near the trees, Rich says he's got some old electric fencing lying around that we can use.

Good luck mate, the concept of 'pacing yourself' is completely alien to you. isn't it?

Keep those dagged bits of fleece - perfect fruit tree mulch.

When I get some land, I want Portlands - small fuzzy & slightly mad. We'll get along just fine.

If this goes OK we'll look at some breeds next year.

That has just put an interesting image into my mind

Great news about the sheep - you just have to think of names for them all now

Can we come and see them sometime? It's been about 20 years since I knew anyone with sheep.

You are very adventurous - they take quite a bit of looking after IIRC.

Wife and kids are in charge. Rich is there as emergency cover. I just get to eat chops.
