I spot them from time to time, don't recall seeing many on here. Can't the mods leave them up for a while so that we can provide the spammer with a bit of feedback?

The company pays someone to do it. They won't read any feedback. We get a couple most days.

That many? That surprises me. What I can't get my head round is that these companies must think that it's good for business.

In many cases it's part of a advertising portfolio of results they feedback back to the client. It doesn't have to be effective advertising.

Alternatively it's a method of capturing contact details to be sold on.

Or both.
