ps the canes in the bigboy cage are 8 footers

this years toms are living up to the name

albert and albertine have reached the wall top to the alley and are being directed outwards and sideways

the assorted herbs are huge and active

the cucumbers, perhaps 8 is too many nah pickles, are doing well
perhaps my yard is not dissimilar to somewhere in japan

they do look very like the one on my early c1735 bottle vase, i rather like that
i will get a snap of them together

i cant be bothered with a shed snap at the mo, updating creative suite and using the fancy new versions was more than enough for the day

That looks good Dpack. The new gate looks lovely and really sets off the growing things. Please can we have a picture of the mouse castle some time.

the gate is not finished yet, it still needs reinforcement to strengthen the junction of the 2 layers of marine ply

the new smaller shed has similar hand forged fixings for the end door to the gate and a double barn door slider on the wide side in factory black metal(smith made sliders were bad expensive)

i just planted the second half of the green things seeds, japanese and a bit like spicy spinach

I rolled back the shading (thin white cotton curtain) in the greenhouse..it was needed in May to stop young plants being scorched, but now it so dull and cold again they need all the light they can get!

Everything is sodden....and more rain forecast.

We have been very dry and hot this last week. Hoping for rain today; perhaps overnight Saturday to Sunday as there are a lot of things going on today. We have an event at one of the farm shops we supply, and our local village has a show on too. Hoping to visit both, the farm to see what the show is like now and the village as SIL and niece will be there with the hedgehog rescue stall that niece used to run. Someone else took it over when it got too much for her, but they still do fund raising.

When I moved in - 2013 - if I'd had a market for dandelions job would have been a good one.

[img] - in the rain but good to sit in

Shame I didn't post the pictures better - should have been smaller in size. I'll know for next time.
