There are two large chicken sheds half a mile from my house, they are obviously either a figment of my imagination or Norfolk has succesfully invaded.

I think the point is it's a map of Great Britain. And Northern Ireland isn't in Great Britain.

Masses of both. Giant, industrial chicken/turkey farms, but also lots of small, domestic birds in back gardens, farm yards and roadside verges. We truly mix the 21st century and the 50's here.

Yes - it cover 1000miles2, so an area about 33 by 33 miles, but 1000 sounds so much better to the panicmongers.
