Can I eat carrot leaves/plumes?

Got my first ever veg box delivery this morning and I have organic carrots with their leaves/plumes still on. Are the plumes OK to eat? And if yes, how can I prepare them?

I've made salads with beetroot tops and I hate to throw something away that looks like it should be good to eat....

Yes, they're a bit parsleyish. The only way I've ever used them is in saag.

Better on really young ones than really old ones. Raw, they bring a rare few people out in a rash.

I prefer them recycled as eggs.

(that is, my chickens LOVE the stuff)
