Has anyone else seen this? They are crowdfunding for an app, which sounds interesting; but there's already a database you can add yourself to. It's Australia-based though, which isn't terribly *convenient* for most of us!

Perhaps we could forge some sort of biannual courgette swapping arrangement with the Antipodes?

There have been other sites like this haven't there? I think maybe the local smallholder sites on facebook might be a better way of doing this.

Yes, possibly. But also, this is an *APP*. The Young People will love it.

But do they eat vegetables? Or anything else that develops in that old-fashioned way, you know, sort of not-ripe to ripe?

They will if their iPhone tells them to.

You are more likely to score a hit on the Isle of Wight than Australia if you have a big cannon at Portsmouth, and I think they grow enough courgettes already.

That's true. Was I thinking of Plymouth perhaps? I think Dover would just provoke the French, and we'd be inundated with smelly cheese... (although...not a bad thing per se...)
