Joanne's daughter has been staying for the weekend and the children and the house have been beaten in to submission. I have sold two pullets and I haven't had a fit. I am not long for bed in order to keep things that way .

two terminal fruit on the blackberries have gone black which is good and there is a potential for about 40 kg to follow on.

the bees have been very busy this year and my pet sparrows have kept the early aphids ,pillars and such like in check.
the sparrows are not quite tame enough to hand feed but they do "up close and personal" as a temporary perch now and again

Finally caught the snail that has been having a go at my courgettes that are in a big pot ouside the back door. Live in hopes they will now start to grow more, but will leave the beer trap just in case there are any other beasties after them.

the black berries now number at least ten and the biggest big boy has started gestating a second litter.

2 fish boxes and a biggish window sill trough have been filled with super strong compost and topped with seedling soil and await inhabitants, weeding done ,a supermarket thyme seperated into about 50 plantlets and installed in a window sill trough .

g'pigs stuffed(see weeding) and it will be tea time soon.
