As part of National Science and Engineering Week a campaign has been launched to get more bee friendly plants out there, if you register here https://www.saveourbees.org.uk/index.asp they are sending out free packs of appropriate seeds and packs of info that might be of particular interest to the teachers amongst us and those doing Home Ed, though bound to have good ideas for activities for anyone with kids

Ta for that Sally. I've emailed the site as it'd be great if I could use their stuff with my English students.

A brilliant initiative.

Yeh we got ours too, they are going in our "wild flower garden" (i.e. basically the whole of the bottom of the garden that I never seem to get round to weeding!!)

I got mine a bit ago. I'll put them on the bank near my hive.

I suspect the French bees would've stuck their nose-thingies up at the imports anyway - "Pah! Le pollen anglais. C'est horrible!"
