Sorry - don't know where the time goes. Thought I'd only had them a week! The seeds are, however, on their way, First Class, to Mardu.

I'll be able to do my ferreting through the collection on Saturday morning. Hope you don't mind, cir3ngirl, but I thought it might be a good idea to use the Sunday, before the seeds get back on the road, to let gardening-girl have her turn, as she lives nearby. Could you let her have your address if she hasn't got it already?

Its a fantastic set of packets this year, thanks to everyone who has contributed.

Does the seed parcel want an addition? I've been rummaging and have a lot of seeds that I won't plant, but they're dated 2012/13 so I don't want to hang on to them if someone else can use them?

Or the obvious solution would be to stick my name back on the list

Tom Jones - Could you please introduce yourself as you haven't really posted on the forum and I'm a bit reluctant to let the seeds go to someone we hardly know

Yea Sorry about that, I should have introduced myself earlyer, but been rather bizzy and my computer kept braking down.

I am a 55yr old gardener, who grows for our local community, involved with a new allotment and land share project in Carmarthenshire.

I am very interested in growing the more unusual verieties of veg, herloom etc.

I collect a lot of my own seeds, and share them with others in our community.

Trying to incurage the younger generation to get the bug of growing your own.

regards

Hi Tom. Welcome to DS. It's not unusual to be too busy to post at this time of year.

Having the right timeing and weather to get into the allotment has been bad for me this last month.

i also do voluntery work and every time it has been sunny, wishing I could spend time gardening, I had been booked to do my volunteering work.

Hope I can get stuck in now, a bit later that I wished.

Tom

Welcome, Tom!

(I'm regretting not joining in, now, I've got enthusiastic about the greenhouse!)
